Our client is seeking a Deputy Head RVN to join their team at a well-respected small animal hospital in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take their career to the next level. With over 70 years of history, our client has grown into a successful 46-branch group, including three small animal hospitals, and this role will be based at their largest 24-hour facility.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated RVN with a passion for the ECC environment, looking to step into a leadership role. The hospital is situated on the edge of Essex, offering easy access to London via direct transport links. The surrounding area boasts a vibrant café and restaurant scene, providing plenty of options for downtime and relaxation.
This RCVS-accredited hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a new CT scanner, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, X-ray facilities, and more. They have also achieved Silver Status from the ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic, highlighting their dedication to feline care. The team is comprised of highly skilled professionals, with many veterinary surgeons trained to handle complex cases and specialties like internal medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, and soft tissue surgery.
You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team of around 24 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs, and a large front-of-house staff, all committed to delivering exceptional client and patient care. In this role, you will help foster team engagement, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and have the chance to further develop your leadership skills.

The Role:
• Full Time role - 4 day week (10 hour shifts), rota'd to either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
• Lieu days will be rotated and shared, meaning there will be a 4-day weekend every other week
• 1:6 weekend rota with TOIL
