Working Pattern
- Full-time permanent position
- 4-day working week (9:00am – 7:00pm)
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 1:00pm)

The Role
This role is ideal for a confident and proactive RVN looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility while remaining hands-on clinically. You will play a key role in delivering high standards of patient care, supporting the clinical team, and contributing to a positive and collaborative working environment.
The position offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to utilise your full nursing skill set within a modern, well-equipped clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across surgical, inpatient, and consult settings
- Monitor anaesthesia and provide pre, peri and post-operative care
- Support diagnostic procedures and administer treatments
- Carry out nurse consultations including preventative care and post-operative checks
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
Team & Client Care
- Provide excellent client communication and support
- Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and support staff
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
Operational Responsibilities
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, compliance, and clinical protocols
- Assist with stock control and equipment care
Practice Environment
You will be working in a purpose-built, modern veterinary clinic with access to high-quality facilities including digital imaging, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, and dedicated nursing consultation space.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
- Confident across a range of clinical nursing duties
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
- Passion for delivering high standards of patient and client care
