• Head Veterinary Nurse role at a well established small animal practice in Inverclyde

Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse ready to take the next step in your career, or an existing Head Veterinary Nurse seeking a fresh challenge? Our client is looking for a dedicated and motivated Head Nurse to join their team full-time at their small animal and exotics practice in a highly sought-after town in Inverclyde. This role is perfect for someone passionate about advancing high standards of animal care and promoting excellence in veterinary nursing while leading and developing a talented nursing team.

With a history spanning over a century, this mixed animal practice has been a cornerstone of its community, providing compassionate care to generations of clients and their pets. The practice moved to its current premises in 1910 and successfully expanded in the 1960s with the addition of a second branch, enabling them to reach even more patients.

The team is made up of experienced professionals with diverse interests across small animal, farm, and equine fields, including ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. Many staff members are trained to work with all species, ensuring there is always someone on hand to provide support and guidance.

The practice is well-equipped with advanced facilities, including the latest Karl Storz laparoscopy equipment for laparoscopic spays, a fully equipped lab with cutting-edge haematology and biochemistry tools, ultrasound scanners, digital radiography (including dental x-ray), an endoscope, and state-of-the-art dental instruments and equipment.

The Package:

• Generous salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 DOE
