An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead a dedicated nursing team at a thriving, well-equipped practice in Middlesex. With fantastic facilities and a strong reputation for exceptional pet care across Twickenham, St Margaret’s, Strawberry Hill, and Teddington, this practice has been a trusted part of the community for over 15 years. Located on the high street with excellent public transport links, this is the perfect role for a motivated and experienced RVN ready to take the next step in their career!
As Head RVN, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of gold-standard patient and client care while maintaining the highest regulatory and practice standards. You will work alongside two vets, two student nurses, and three VCAs, supporting them in all aspects of surgical procedures, patient monitoring, nurse-led clinics, and Schedule 3 procedures. With a focus on team development and clinical excellence, you will play a key role in mentoring, coaching, and shaping the practice’s future.
The ideal candidate will be a confident leader and an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse, with experience in delivering exceptional patient care, running nurse consultations, and coaching colleagues to excel. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of the nursing team, enhance clinical standards, and drive progressive changes that benefit both patients and the wider team.
