Nurse Team Leader - Henley on Thames

• Nurse team leader position at an independent small animal practice in Henley on Thames
• Well facilitated practice offering many services including dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, in-house laboratory and much more
• Fantastic salary of up to £38,000 DOE
• No Saturday or Sunday Night shifts and No Sunday or Bank Holiday shifts

We have a fantastic opportunity here at Purovets for a nurse team leader to join an independent small animal practice in Henley on-Thames. Located on the edge of the Chiltern Hills where there are abundant opportunities for dog walking, running, cycling and mountain biking. The M40 and M4 are close by providing excellent transport opportunities and London is only a 30 minute train journey away.

This is a senior position managing a large team of RVN's and SVN's. You will be expected to lead by example and encourage a culture of positivity. As well as the general nursing duties of a RVN your responsibilities will include leading, supervising and supporting the nursing staff, providing induction, training and continuous development of nursing staff, regular appraisals and performance management of staff and recruitment to ensure the nursing team is staffed appropriately.

Our client is an independent medium sized, 100% small animal practice with big plans to expand into a purpose built hospital in the next few years. The practice is well facilitated offering many services including dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, in-house laboratory, separate cat and dog wards and much more.

The successful candidate will need to be a qualified RVN with at least 5 years' experience. You need to be enthusiastic and positive with great communication and customer service skills and be a strong team player.

The Role:
• Full Time - 40 hours per week
• Option to work either 4 or 5 days
• 1:4 Saturdays
• Very occasional night shifts (Monday - Friday, less than 1 per month), with two days off after a night shift
• No Saturday or Sunday Night shifts and No Sunday or Bank Holiday shifts
