Are you a dedicated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills? If so, we have an excellent position for you at a multi-disciplinary referral hospital in Cheshire.

Our client operates a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital equipped with 10 consulting rooms, 6 operating theatres, an In-house laboratory, X-ray, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, a dedicated Dental Suite, and much more. They are committed to delivering top-notch veterinary care and providing a supportive learning environment for nursing staff.

They are currently seeking a dynamic Registered Veterinary Nurse with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients in a rapidly growing environment.

You will be exposed to a variety of orthopaedic cases, spanning fracture repairs, limb deformation corrective surgery, cruciate repairs and elbow and stifle arthroscopy. With 2 orthopaedic surgeons and high demand our client has decided to add to their existing team of orthopaedic RVN's. Their RVN's rotate between the anaesthetising (and performing various local anaesthesia techniques) and surgical assistance during the procedures. They take an active role in post-operative care for both in-patients and out-patients.

They offer a supportive learning environment for nurses - CPD is encouraged and funded. Many of their nurses have achieved or are working towards certificates in further studies (anaesthesia, surgery, dentistry) and/or advanced diplomas. Their nurses were heavily involved in our client achieving Hospital Status with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.

The ideal candidate will need to have RVN status, be confident in their professional abilities and have the ability to work well individually and as part of a large team. You will need to have a desire to offer gold standard clinical care at all times and an interest in orthopaedic surgery.
