Purovets has an exciting, brand-new position for a Practice Manager. In this role, you will lead the non-clinical operations of a busy hospital and inspire and guide a dynamic team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and support staff toward success.
The practice is well equipped with an MRI/CT unit, endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, MiLab X7 ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods, dental radiology and much more!
You will be joining an exceptional team comprising of highly skilled veterinary surgeons, dedicated nurses, and proficient support staff.
As a multifaceted role, you will take charge of the financial and operational performance of the hospital, ensuring team engagement and clinical standards align with RCVS Practice Standards. This entails optimising staffing, maintaining equipment, stock, and safety protocols, managing time-off, and spearheading new staff inductions. Your responsibilities extend to recruitment coordination, line manager duties, and liaising with various stakeholders, including Branch Partners and OOH practices.
We are looking for a standout candidate who's a natural leader with strong organisational and leadership skills. You should have a passion for developing your colleagues and the practice, be proactive, approachable, and skilled at building relationships. The ability to make balanced decisions under pressure and prioritise tasks is key. Ideally, you will have a nursing or veterinary background, and previous management experience is a must.
