An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a long established and highly respected small animal practice in Stratford. With over 40 years of experience, this well-regarded practice is built on a foundation of exceptional clinical care, teamwork, and a genuine passion for animal welfare, delivered by a dedicated team of RCVS qualified veterinary surgeons and nurses.
The practice is proud to have multiple certificate holders across surgery, medicine, and diagnostic imaging, resulting in a diverse and stimulating caseload with very few external referrals. This means you’ll be exposed to a wide range of advanced procedures and opportunities to develop high level nursing skills in a supportive and progressive environment. The nursing team itself is highly experienced, with impressive longevity of service, including colleagues who have been part of the practice for decades, reflecting the strong culture and loyalty within the team.
Veterinary Nurses are fully utilised and valued, with a strong emphasis on nurse led consultations, Schedule 3 procedures, and active participation in patient care throughout the working day. The team includes nurses with specialist interests in anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, client support, and behaviour, offering excellent opportunities for mentorship and personal development. Supported by dedicated Patient Care Assistants, the nursing team works collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered at all times.

The Rota
Full time position: 40 hours
The position will include some out of hours work and would suit a self-motivated RVN with their own transport who is keen to develop their skills.
You can choose between nights or weekends and these are paid on top of salary. There is also opportunities to work Bank holidays, paid as extra if you wish.
