Veterinary Radiographer - Kent

• Fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Radiographer looking for an exciting challenge in which you will build and expand a radiography department and grow and lead a team of skilled radiographers.
• Proudly independent RCVS accredited practice, equipment includes 32-Slice Siemens Somation CT scanner and digital radiography machine.
• 16 hours per week
• Salary £11,500 per annum and a generous benefits package

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Radiographer to join a proudly independent small animal practice located in the charming town in Kent. You will have the exclusive opportunity to lead the development and expansion of a cutting-edge radiography service.

Within the role you will ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained in a safe and timely manner. Uphold radiation safety measures and expected standards. Start CT service with initially low volume, with the exciting challenge of building and expanding the radiography department. Grow and lead a team of skilled radiographers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Perform various radiographic duties, including standard x-rays and other imaging techniques, crucial in supporting our clinical team and enhancing patient care. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to the diagnosis and treatment plans.

The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including 32-Slice Siemens Somation CT scanner and digital radiography machine, X-ray, Ultrasound, an In-house laboratory, Endoscope, laparoscopic equipment, Dental services and much more.

Our client is looking for a qualified diagnostic radiographer with a degree or a comparable degree/qualification. Must be HCPC registered and experienced in CT imaging and digital radiography.

The practice is situated in a town which is dotted with quaint streets lined with boutique shops, cosy cafes, and traditional pubs, inviting residents and visitors alike to explore its vibrant atmosphere. The town benefits from excellent transportation links, including frequent train services connecting it to London in under an hour, making it an attractive commuter town.

The Rota:

• 16 hours per week
