Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in North London. As a leading university teaching animal hospital, they have been providing veterinary services to the community since 1933 and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
In this role, you will work closely with the head nurse, contributing to the day-to-day hospital management and ensuring clinical care standards are maintained. You will also have the opportunity to advance your confidence and develop your teaching skills by supporting final-year veterinary students and serving as a clinical coach to trainee nursing students.
The hospital is located in a vibrant area of North London, known for its bustling market, diverse shops, eateries, and thriving nightlife. It is a spacious, modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including ECG, ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy, and species-specific clinical areas. The hospital serves as a first-opinion small animal practice and hosts a specialist exotics referral service, offering a dynamic and stimulating working environment.
This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours per week. The rota includes 4 days on-call every 1 in 16 weeks and occasional weekend cover for annual leave. The successful candidate must be a fully registered veterinary nurse. Further advanced training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
