This is an opportunity for a veterinary nurse who wants more than simply another nursing position. The practice is looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys supporting colleagues and wants to have a genuine influence on how the practice develops.
As an independent practice, the team has the freedom to make decisions based on what is best for patients, clients and staff. Ideas are encouraged, improvements are welcomed and every team member has the opportunity to make a difference.
The practice cares for small animals and exotic pets and offers a friendly, close-knit environment where colleagues support one another and enjoy coming to work.
The Ideal RVN
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will be:
- RCVS registered and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care
- Friendly, compassionate and confident when communicating with clients
- Organised, proactive and solution-focused
- A supportive team player who enjoys mentoring others
- Keen to develop professionally and take on additional responsibility
- Comfortable suggesting new ideas and improving clinical processes
Experienced RVNs and Senior RVNs looking to develop their leadership skills are particularly encouraged to apply.
Career Development
The practice believes in investing in its people. CPD is actively encouraged and supported, with genuine opportunities to develop leadership skills and progress as the practice grows.
Whether the successful candidate is already an experienced Senior RVN or is ready to take their first step towards leadership, the team will provide the support and encouragement needed to develop.
Working Pattern & Benefits
The role offers four days Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 weekends, with no night shifts.
Weekday shifts rotate between 8:00am–5:30pm and 10:30am–8:00pm, including a paid 30-minute lunch. Weekend shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm Saturday and 8:30am–4:00pm Sunday.
