An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, close-knit team at a well-equipped South London practice, where open communication and a supportive environment are at the heart of everything they do. With state-of-the-art facilities, including a new digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, haematology and biochemistry machines, centrifuge, and microscope, this practice is fully equipped to provide top-quality patient care and thoroughly work up cases.
Led by a Branch Partner with over nine years’ experience and a certificate in Small Animal Surgery, you’ll also be working alongside an experienced Student Nurse and a dedicated Client Care Assistant, ensuring a collaborative and well-supported team dynamic. The caseload is varied, with 70% feline and 30% canine patients, providing a great balance of medical, surgical, and preventative care. Each day is busy yet well-structured, with consults, 1-3 surgical procedures, and dedicated time for admin and lunch breaks.
The practice is committed to developing its nursing team, offering nurse consults, training, and internal CPD to build confidence and skills. There’s even a bespoke nutritional ambassador programme to help expand clinical knowledge. To support professional growth, the practice has created clinical communities, where vets and nurses with shared interests can connect, collaborate, and develop their passions.
