Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a Senior Veterinary Nurse to join their team at a RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in East London. This well-regarded group, which has been established for over 70 years, includes 46 branches and three small animal hospitals across Greater London, and has earned a strong reputation for its dedication to exceptional care and a positive work ethos.
You will be joining the largest 24-hour RCVS-accredited hospital in the group, where the focus is on delivering outstanding emergency and critical care. Our client is looking for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse who excels in the ECC environment and has a particular passion for surgical nursing. This position is ideal for an experienced RVN who is confident in the operating theatre and eager to move into a senior, theatre-only role. If you already hold a surgical nursing certificate, that's fantastic! If not, the hospital is committed to supporting your professional development.
The hospital boasts excellent diagnostic facilities, including a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, and a highly skilled team of medical professionals and surgeons. Advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgeries are routinely performed on-site, providing a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
You'll be part of a large and supportive team comprising approximately 24 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs, and a front-of-house team that is crucial in ensuring exceptional client care. The hospital is situated on the edge of leafy Essex, with quick and convenient transport links into central London, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy both city and countryside living. The Role:
• Full Time role - 40 hour week
• 1:4 weekends with TOIL
• Up to 3 bank holidays per year
Benefits:
• Superb salary between £33,000 and £37,000 DOE
