Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
York, North Yorkshire | £26,500 – £31,000 DOE | Full Time | Hospital Role

Working Pattern
- Full-time permanent position (40 hours per week)
- Varied shifts Monday to Sunday
- 1 in 4 weekends with time off in lieu
- Bank holidays included in rota
- Full UK driving licence required

- Salary £26,500 – £31,000 depending on experience

Clinical Duties
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across inpatient, surgical and consult settings
- Assist with advanced procedures including imaging and surgical cases
- Monitor anaesthesia and provide pre, peri and post-operative care
- Run nurse clinics and support client education
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
Team & Patient Care
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Provide excellent communication and support to clients
- Ensure high standards of patient welfare and clinical care
Operational Responsibilities
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and standards
- Assist with stock control and equipment maintenance
Practice Environment
You will be working within a modern, RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital equipped with advanced facilities including CT imaging, in-house laboratory, and surgical capabilities.
The team includes experienced veterinary surgeons and nurses, many of whom hold additional certificates. The environment is supportive, forward-thinking, and focused on clinical excellence, learning, and development.
