Registered Veterinary Nurse - North Somerset
• This role is ideal for a Registered Veterinary Nurse, 1 year qualified who would like to work in an Independent veterinary hospital and become part of an exceptional team.
• Salary is up to £28,000 per annum DOE

Purovets are seeking a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent hospital with a very friendly and highly experienced team.
Our client is an independent veterinary hospital located in the scenic North Somerset region, the hospital has the highest RCVS accreditation and two 'outstanding' service awards, and is also part of 5 local practices in the area. Nestled within a vibrant town, the hospital harmoniously combines a strong sense of community with its picturesque natural surroundings.
The hospital boasts a comprehensive array of cutting-edge equipment, including Laparoscopic, Laser, Ultrasound, as well as a CT and MRI, ensuring patients receive top-tier diagnostic and treatment options.
You will become an integral part of an outstanding team, made up of highly skilled Veterinary Surgeons who are supported by a dedicated nursing team comprising 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 4 Animal Care Assistants. They have a team of supportive and committed individuals, offering a vibrant workplace where you will feel encouraged and challenged.
Situated in an enchanting town in the heart of North Somerset, surrounded by breath taking natural beauty, the town thrives with a vibrant community spirit. With excellent transport links, including proximity to the M5 motorway and a nearby train station.
This role is ideal for a motivated and energetic Registered Veterinary Nurse with one year of experience, someone that is looking to work for and independent veterinary hospital in a supportive environment whilst utilising their nursing skills.
The Role:
• 39.5hr week
• Rota will be either 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm shifts.
• 1:7 weekends (Fri to Sun 7.30pm-8.30am) - giving you plenty of time off for a great work life balance
• OOH emergency service is fully outsourced, nurses will assist with phone calls and stable patients, but this is few and far between, so the night nurse mainly gets to sleep.
