About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a fulfilling and varied role. Based in a modern, well-equipped veterinary hospital, this role offers the chance to work with a wide range of cases while being fully supported by a skilled and compassionate team.
The hospital is fitted with separate dog and cat kennels, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and extensive orthopaedic equipment to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Nurses play a crucial role in consultations, inpatient care, medication dispensing, and assisting in surgery, including schedule 3 procedures.
Nurses are encouraged to share ideas, lead by example, and contribute to improving services. With flexible working options available, the role supports a healthy work-life balance, ensuring staff feel valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities
• Providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assisting in theatre procedures, diagnostics, and inpatient care.
• Running nurse consultations, educating clients, and advising on pet welfare.
• Dispensing medications and supporting veterinary surgeons in all aspects of treatment.
• Promoting the charity's mission and working efficiently to maximise resources.

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients.
