Overview
An experienced Practice Manager is required to lead the daily operations of a well-established independent veterinary practice in Camden, offering both first opinion and advanced referral services. This position suits a strong operational leader with a background in veterinary, capable of driving team performance, financial outcomes, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day practice operations within a busy veterinary clinic
Lead rota planning, staffing, and resource management
Oversee financial performance including budgets, KPIs, cost control, and revenue
Drive client experience, including handling complaints and feedback
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and internal standards
Maintain stock control and supplier management
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Support a positive team culture and ongoing staff development
Requirements
Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar leadership role
Background in veterinary
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience managing financial performance and KPIs
Confident handling client queries and complaints
Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability
Proficient with IT systems including practice management software and Microsoft Office
