Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate Associate Veterinarian to join their talented team in Essex County, New York. Nestled between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, this location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with easy access to picturesque waterways and abundant hiking opportunities.

The practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care and boasts an impressive range of in-house diagnostic tools, including capabilities for CBCs, chemistry profiles, urinalyses, infectious disease testing, endocrine and pancreatic evaluations, 4Dx testing, coagulation times, and therapeutic drug monitoring. Diagnostic imaging includes digital x-rays and ultrasound, ensuring thorough and accurate care for patients.

In addition to a primary focus on small animals, the practice occasionally treats wildlife patients and collaborates with a dedicated wildlife liaison doctor. This doctor, with experience in raptor rehabilitation, brings an added dimension to the team, expanding both the services offered and the potential for unique patient cases. Regular patients include dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and pocket pets, offering a diverse and engaging case load.
