A fantastic opportunity for a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join this AAHA-accredited hospital in Tampa, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits, with weekend shifts required.

A dynamic, privately owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice with 8 locations throughout Tampa, FL, committed to providing the highest standard of care for their patients.
They are seeking a Full-Time Primary Care Veterinarian to join their progressive team, which includes two American Board of Veterinary Practitioners Canine and Feline Diplomates. Their six AAHA-accredited hospitals are situated in the beautiful Tampa area, just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico's stunning beaches.

The practice is home to a dedicated and compassionate team, including credentialed technicians, and they have a board-certified surgeon and internist available for consultations as needed. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including electronic medical records, digital radiology, digital dental radiography, high-speed dental equipment, rigid and flexible endoscopy, and ultrasound.
They value education and mentorship, earning AAHA Mentorship Accreditation and serving as a Clinical Affiliate Practice for the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. All veterinarians participate in our journal club, doctors' meetings, specialty labs, and lectures.

About you:
• The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and outstanding client service.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid State of Florida veterinary license
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team
• Commitment to providing top-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to our patients
• Ability to manage a busy caseload while ensuring thorough documentation
• Flexibility to accommodate emergencies and walk-ins during a fast-paced day
• A desire for continuous professional development and learning
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance

Job Summary:
Full-time position (4-day week) with weekend shifts required. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and outstanding client service.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams for all pets
• Conduct surgeries and dental extractions
• Communicate effectively with clients, always maintaining professionalism
• Document medical notes and records in Practice Management Software promptly
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and follow-up care
