A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a RVN to work at one of the UK's most respected Equine Hospital based in Malton. Since the 1980s, the hospital has been pioneering in equine medicine and surgery by continually investing in the latest equipment, and the best employees have remained at the forefront. Work is currently underway to revamp its state-of-the-art practice with plans to include two new operating theatres, a dedicated isolation unit for 6 inpatients, a new reception building and offices for vets and administrative staff.
Our client is looking for a qualified RVN who shows compassion and empathy in their work. Great communication and organisational skills are important personal attributes as well as being a positive, reliable and trustworthy individual who is a great team player. In addition to these qualities our client would also prefer someone who lives close to the hospital and has the ability to travel (own car is essential).
You will require several skills to be successful for this role. These include, but are not limited to:
Client communication and education
Diagnostic imaging preparation and processing
Practice protocol knowledge, understanding, and adherence
Pre-operative and post-surgery patient care
Equine experience
The Role:
•Full-time or part-time hours considered
•OOH rota - 1:8 weekends and 3 weekday nights per month
