A rare and exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent, RCVS accredited practice nestled in a historic spa town in Worcestershire. For over 60 years, this respected clinic has been a cornerstone of the local equine community, offering expert care with a warm, personal touch.
This is no ordinary role – you’ll be part of a team of 12 dedicated veterinary surgeons supported by a brilliant reception crew, working in a practice equipped with cutting-edge tools including a mobile gastroscopy unit, flexible fibre-optic endoscope, portable x-ray, ultrasound, equine acupuncture, and more. If you thrive on ambulatory and lameness work-ups and enjoy true clinical freedom, this is your chance to do meaningful work in a setting that values quality over quotas.
Your work-life balance will be genuinely respected here. Full-time vets enjoy a four-day week, 8:30am to 6:30pm, with a fixed day off and built-in admin time – no staying late scribbling notes. The weekend rota is a relaxed 1 in 4, and you'll be on-call just one night a week.
