Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Kilkenny, Ireland
Are you an experienced and driven RVN looking for a new and challenging job? PuroVets are excited to present this fantastic opportunity, working alongside a brilliant team at a highly accredited Veterinary hospital in Kilkenny.
About The Role:
- Salary up to €40,000 per year
- Full-time or part-time, permanent
- Flexible hours between 8.30am – 6.30pm
- Alternate Saturday cover, 9am-1pm (Sundays closed)
- State-of-the-art facilities -fully equipped hospital

Responsibilities and Skills:
General responsibilities include inpatient care, surgical preparation, processing laboratory samples, infection control, anaesthetic monitoring, dental work, weight clinics, nurse clinics and more! The ideal applicant will have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as have a proactive, flexible and willing to work attitude. They also need to be able to work efficiently under pressure, as part of a team and on own initiative.
About the Practice:
Established for over 30 years, the practice pride themselves in providing high standard Veterinary care for both companion and farm animals. The facility houses the latest diagnostic equipment, including in-house haematology, biochemistry, digital radiology, dentistry, and ultrasound.
