Purovets is looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join an independent small animal practice in Norfolk. The full-time position is a 4-day week from 8.30am till 6pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays (8.30am - 12pm) and no OOHs. Part-time applications will also be considered.
The team consists of 4 vets enabled by 7 vet nurses (4 x RVN, 2 x SVN), 4 receptionists, account manager & practice manager, make a close-knit, hard-working team dedicated to providing the best for the clients (pets and humans). The role will involve a mix of consults and ops each week, with 15-minute consult slots starting from 8.30am, in blocks spread throughout the day which give ample time to follow-up cases. They are looking for a hard-working team player who is happy to adapt to Norfolk life but confident enough to bring new ideas.
They are a close-knit team and actively encourage case discussion, and there will always be someone to lend a supporting hand should you need it. The varied caseload means there is always plenty of opportunity to learn new skills whilst being fully supported by more experienced colleagues. You will have full support from a dedicated experienced Vet GDP.
The practice is in Watton, Norfolk, with easy access to Norfolk's beautiful countryside & beaches. The town thrives on a blend of traditional markets, local craftsmanship, and a welcoming atmosphere, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its quaint allure. The town is well-served by major roads like the A1075, facilitating easy access to nearby towns and cities. While there is no railway station within Watton itself, nearby stations in Thetford and Attleborough provide train links to various destinations across the country.
