Brand new opportunity to join this rapidly expanding, well-known and respected independent veterinary practice located in a West London. They are rapidly expanding and are currently seeking a Head Nurse to join their experienced team.
The practice boasts a bright and modern clinic equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment, including orthopaedic tools, digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, multiparameter monitors, and a full in-house Idexx lab. Our client is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to their clients and their beloved pets.
The practice is in an excellent location and boasts expansive green spaces, providing an excellent escape from the urban hustle and bustle but still only 20 minutes into central London on the Northern Line.
As the Head Nurse, you will assume a pivotal role in leading and managing the nursing team. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the nursing rota, managing nurse holiday requests, ensuring nurses adhere to their shift duties, and organizing lunch breaks. In addition to these administrative duties, you will be expected to perform all the usual Veterinary Nurse (VN) duties, providing excellent patient care and support to the veterinary team.
A great Rota:
• 40-hour workweek (9 am - 5 pm) with a 30-minute lunch break.
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (9 am - 1 pm).
