Head Veterinary Nurse - Cheshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Nurse to join an award-winning, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in the historic county of Cheshire. Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled individual who is confident in their clinical and consulting abilities to join their dedicated team. The practice prides itself on treating every patient as if they were their own and ensuring every client receives the care and respect they deserve.

Located in a charming market and port town, this Cheshire practice offers an excellent work-life balance, with easy access to major motorway links such as the M6 and M56. The area's impressive transport networks make commuting to nearby cities like Manchester and Chester simple and convenient.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the practice offers a wide range of services, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, dedicated surgical suites with advanced anaesthetic systems, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, and ECG machines to ensure patient safety during operations.

Currently, the branch operates with one vet and a nursing team comprising RVNs, SVNs, and ACAs. The Head Nurse will lead this nursing team and support the Branch Manager in the day-to-day running of the practice, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

This is a full-time position, working five days a week on a rota between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday, with 1:6 Saturday mornings. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

The Package:
