Here at Purovets we have a wonderful opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at a wonderful practice in the picturesque town of Calne in Wiltshire. Located on the edge of the North Wessex Downs and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where there are loads of great walks to explore, this is an ideal location for an outdoor enthusiast.

Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 5 years' experience to join their practice on a full time basis. Ideally you will be confident in routine surgery and medicine, be happy with sole charge responsibilities and be keen to develop your skill set. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to modernise and develop the practice.

The practice is fully equipped providing up-to-date technology including an in-house laboratory, digital and dental x-ray and ultrasound using the most state of the art equipment. The practice is also RCVS accredited.

The role will require flexibility as you will be covering 2 practices in the area with the support of a friendly and passionate veterinary team committed to providing the very best in animal care.

The successful candidate will need to RCVS accredited, be assured in their communication and be happy to work as part of a wider team.

The Rota:
• Full Time role - 39 hours weekly
• 4 or 5 day working week
• 1:3 Saturdays
• Some sole charge required
• Part time applications welcome

The Benefits:
• Salary - up to £75,000 DOE
• 5 weeks annual leave
