Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for ECC to join their experienced and friendly night team. They already have 4 amazing night vets, including an ECC certificate holder, and they are looking for another vet to work alongside them. You would also be working with two experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and a twilight nurse. The twilight shifts are 4pm - 12am from Monday - Friday and the role covers inpatient care, emergency consultations and procedures. They cover OOH for their hospital and 5 branches plus 4 local practices, so they have a varied caseload but still have sufficient time to manage cases to the highest standard. This position would suit an experienced ECC vet who is looking to move away from night shifts or a vet who would like to develop their ECC experience as there is the opportunity for case discussion with experienced colleagues.
Currently operating across a 24-hour, Tier 3 hospital and 5 smaller branch surgeries, this practice is well equipped to provide a vast array of veterinary treatments to their loyal customer base. The existing team is experienced, dedicated and extremely competent. The practice is currently home to several certificate holders operating across a variety of clinical disciplines including Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Dermatology and Diagnostic imaging, with Advanced Practitioners in Medicine and Surgery. meaning no matter what your area of interest you will find a kindred clinical spirit within their ranks giving you a fantastic opportunity to grow and continue your professional development.
Across their six sites, the practice boasts an enviable range of the latest veterinary equipment and technology meaning you will have all the tools at your disposal to practice in accordance with the highest clinical standards. Facilities include digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, EC, In-house lab, Endoscopy, dental suite, intensive care facilities, Hydrotherapy, separate dog and cat wards and much more!
Role:
- Salary up to £38,000 DOE
- Monday - Friday, 4pm - 12am
- 1 week on, 1 week off; rolling rota
- Average of 20 hours a week
- Additional weekday and weekend shifts available
