Registered Veterinary Nurse – Plymouth
• Brand new, independent small animal practice in the port city of Plymouth

Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for something exciting, meaningful, and truly different? A brand new, independently owned and run veterinary practice is coming to Plymouth, opening its doors in May 2025 — and they are on the lookout for someone special to join from the very beginning.
This is more than just a job. It’s a chance to be part of a lifelong dream come true for the owner and lead vet: to build a friendly, compassionate, first-class practice that puts pets, their people, and the team at the heart of everything. As an independent clinic, they’ll have the freedom to make choices that genuinely prioritise patient care, client support, and the wellbeing of the whole team.
Continuity of care will be the beating heart of the practice. Clients and their pets will be welcomed by familiar faces, building lasting relationships and feeling part of a warm, extended family every time they walk through the door. The environment has been designed to be calm and modern, with top-notch diagnostic and surgical equipment, and thoughtful features like separate cat and dog areas to help reduce stress for all.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, people-loving RVN who takes pride in delivering outstanding care and is excited by the idea of helping to shape something new from the ground up. If you are someone who thrives on team spirit, believes in kindness, and wants to help build a practice that truly reflects your values, you’ll feel right at home. You will be a vital voice in how the clinic grows, and will be supported to keep learning and developing your skills every step of the way.
This is a full time role working either a 4 or 5 day week with a 1:3 Saturday morning rota. There are no OOH with this role.
This is a role for someone who is ready to be more than just another team member — someone who wants to be part of something with heart. If that sounds like you, get in touch. They can’t wait to meet you.
The Package:
• Excellent salary between £27,500 and £35,000 DOE
• 6.6 weeks of annual leave including bank holidays
• Healthcare benefits and annual Wellness Allowance
• Unlimited development opportunities
