Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Anaesthesia Monitoring: Overseeing anaesthetics and maintaining detailed records.
• Clinical Record-Keeping: Accurately documenting patient progress and treatments.
• Administering Care: Providing treatments and medications as directed by veterinarians.
• Client Communication: Updating pet owners on their pet's status with clear and empathetic communication.
• Sterilisation and Cleanliness: Ensuring surgical rooms and medical equipment meet the highest hygiene standards.
• Veterinary Assistance: Supporting veterinarians during procedures and consultations.
• Animal Handling: Comforting and attending to unsettled pets.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of clinical supplies.
• Pet Care Education: Sharing tips and advice with owners about both routine and specialist care.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Experience: Proven background as a veterinary nurse, including consults, GA monitoring, and surgical assistance.
• Qualifications: Degree in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, and RCVS registration.
• Team Spirit: A collaborative approach to working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassion: A genuine passion for delivering the highest standard of care to patients and clients.
