The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a family-owned practice with a long-standing presence in the local community. The practice offers seamless support across a range of services, ensuring continuity of care through primary consultations, advanced procedures, and hospital stays as needed. This role provides the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team, including specialists in various fields, all within a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities
• Support in coordinating and providing nursing care for primary, advanced, and emergency cases, ensuring continuity and consistency across all stages of treatment.
• Assist with general consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and rehabilitation to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Liaise with clients to ensure they are fully informed of all treatment options and supported throughout their pet's healthcare journey.
• Work closely with a team of veterinary specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide advanced care when required.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with veterinary nursing best practices and contribute to the practice's commitment to continual improvement.
• Coordinate patient transport between local clinics and the main hospital, ensuring a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.

Requirements
• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS) with a passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex treatment options in an approachable way to clients.
• An interest in working within an integrated care model, where primary and advanced care teams collaborate seamlessly.
• Willingness to work within a flexible rota that supports a 24-hour service, with the potential for occasional emergency or weekend shifts.
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to providing a supportive environment for colleagues and clients alike.
