Registered Veterinary Nurse - Maternity cover - Co Mayo.
Starting January - Minimum of 6 months.
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting role in a supportive, independent clinic? A fantastic opportunity is available to become join of a growing, close-knit team at a newly established clinic in Castlebar, Mayo for a maternity cover.
This role is ideal for an RVN who thrives on providing excellent patient care and working with a team that truly supports each other.
About the Practice
Since opening, this practice has been warmly welcomed by the local community. With a focus on delivering first-class, compassionate care, they are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray and full in house Idexx lab.
The team is well established consistent of 2 skilled and experienced Surgeons and 1 other nurse and is dedicated to delivering the best standards of care. This is a close-knit team who value great teamwork and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with surgical procedures and support in-patient and post-operative care, reception duties and triaging.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a warm, friendly environment for patients and clients.
Working Hours
• Full time - can be 35 or 40 hours depending on experience.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays with time off in lieu
• 1 in 6 on call (very quiet and only called if surgical, approx. twice a year)
What We Offer
• Competitive salary of €29k - €33k pro rata DOE.
• VDS covered
• Over time paid and on call paid
• VCI if required
