Registered Veterinary Nurse - North London

Hours: Full time-42 hours/week, including 1:4 Saturdays. Part time considered depending on experience. 32-34 hours/week, no weekends
Salary: Up to £32, 552, DOE Plus excellent benefits!. Pro rata for part time position
Puro vets are looking for an excellent RVN to join their expanding team! They are within walking distance from an underground station and offer free parking for our clients and staff. Their Head Vet has been with us for over 20 years and has a large client base - he is excited to work alongside a Registered Veterinary Nurse who shares his dedication to providing the highest levels of care.
At the practice, they pride themselves on their well-equipped facility, which includes digital X-rays, digital dental X-rays, a range of surgical equipment, and modern dental and laboratory equipment. Their dedicated support staff includes a Patient Care Assistant and Client Care Assistant, who work together with their Head Vet and Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide the best possible care to our patients.
The rota:
Hours: Full time-42 hours/week
Only 1:4 Saturday
Part time considered depending on experience-32-34 hours/week, no weekends

The responsibilities of the RVN will involve conducting nurse consultations, assisting with various procedures, monitoring anaesthetised patients, and delivering comprehensive peri-operative care. While the primary focus of the role is on clinical tasks, approximately 5% will be dedicated to administrative duties. These include managing diaries to ensure efficient practice operations, overseeing stock levels, maintaining and servicing equipment, reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing mentorship and supervision to the Patient Care Assistants (PCAs).
