A rare and exciting opportunity awaits a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for rehabilitation at a thriving independent practice in East Yorkshire!
This RCVS-accredited practice operates across two sites and includes a purpose-built hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. The dedicated rehabilitation department features an underwater treadmill, large hydrotherapy pool, and fully equipped physiotherapy suite. Offering a truly holistic approach, services include acupuncture, physiotherapy, class IV laser therapy, and tailored exercise programs.
The department supports a varied caseload of patients, from those with chronic conditions to post-operative orthopaedic and neurological cases. Cases are referred both internally and externally from local practices, creating a busy and rewarding workload.
The successful candidate will lead a small, skilled team including two full-time hydrotherapists one of which is an RVN, while maintaining and growing an established client base. The practice is committed to professional development, with a collaborative and values-driven culture.
This role is being offered as maternity cover, with potential for a longer-term opportunity. A 4-day working week and every other Saturday rota provide excellent work/life balance, and the team is open to part-time arrangements or incorporating additional roles within the wider practice.
