Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to take the next step in your career? Would you like to work for a proudly independent mixed animal practice in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside?
Our client is a well-established mixed animal practice that has been providing veterinary care and advice to pet owners since the 1960s. Over the years, they have grown into a group of five practices serving not only pet owners but also the farming and equine communities. As an RCVS-accredited practice with silver status from the ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic, they are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of animal care.
They are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive, motivated, and talented team as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. In this role, you will encounter a wide variety of cases daily, including orthopaedic cases, and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on animal health and well-being.
The practice is located in a picturesque village nestled in the heart of Oxfordshire, surrounded by streams, hedgerows, and mature trees, creating a tranquil and inspiring atmosphere.
This state-of-the-art practice boasts modern hospitalisation facilities, advanced technology like digital radiography, state-of-the-art ultrasound scanners, and portable emergency diagnostic tools. They also have cutting-edge laboratory technology, allowing for rapid diagnosis and treatment of urgent medical conditions, ensuring the best possible care for all their patients.
You will be joining a team of veterinary professionals who are not only supportive and talented but also deeply passionate about providing exceptional care. The team includes certificate holders in small animal medicine, feline medicine, and RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practitioners, as well as colleagues currently pursuing postgraduate certifications.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage their own cases to an advanced level, with a preference for candidates who are either certificate holders or those keen to study for one. The role also involves supporting less-experienced colleagues within the framework of the client's mentoring programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, independent practice that values growth, development, and high-quality veterinary care. Don't miss your chance to take your career to the next level in this dynamic and rewarding environment.
