Registered Veterinary Nurse - Surgical Referrals Role
•Location: Join a leading referrals hospital in the Northampton area.
•Salary: Fantastic salary up to £36,000 depending on experience (DOE).
•Rota: Excellent rota with only 1:8 Saturdays and no out-of-hours.
Purovets is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse eager to advance their career by joining a highly skilled and supportive team! This role involves working within our surgical referral team, collaborating closely with our first opinion and medical referral teams. We welcome individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional veterinary care and thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
This dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including theatre work, anaesthesia, X-ray/CT imaging, assisting with surgeries such as hip replacements, nurse consultations, inpatient care, emergency response, and critical care nursing. The position is based in a well-equipped, modern Referral Hospital with fantastic facilities, including an in-house laboratory with a dedicated lab technician, CT, MRI, and a dedicated medical service to support the surgical department.
Career progression opportunities include becoming a Clinical Coach, with a great CPD budget, in-house progression plan, and support for post-graduate studies.
Rota Patterns That Work For You:
•The team lies at the core of our operations, which is why we prioritize the importance of work-life balance to ensure our team members can perform at their best.
•Ideally full-time commitment, spanning 40 hours weekly across 5 days.
•Shifts scheduled between 7:30 am to 7:00 pm and 1:8 Saturday mornings.
