Registered Veterinary Nurse (Maternity Cover) - Wiltshire
Location: Wiltshire
Salary: From £25,000+ (pro rata, dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time available
Contract: Maternity Cover (until February 2026)

Why Join Us?
• Flexible working hours - full-time or part-time available
• No weekends or out-of-hours work
• Supportive and friendly team with a great local client base
• Opportunity to bring your dog to work!

The Opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a welcoming and experienced team. This maternity cover role offers the chance to work in a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice with a loyal client base and modern facilities.
The role is flexible and can be full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time, with shifts scheduled between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. There is no weekend or out-of-hours work, ensuring a great work-life balance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys a mix of nurse consults, surgical assistance, and general practice nursing. While there will always be a vet on-site, there may be occasions where you are the only RVN on duty, so confidence in all aspects of first opinion veterinary nursing is essential. You'll also have the support of an excellent Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN) who is a joy to work with.

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and adaptable RVN who enjoys working in a positive and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, confidence in first opinion practice, and a passion for excellent patient care.

Benefits (Pro-Rata):
• 6 weeks paid holiday, including Bank Holidays
•£600 CPD allowance per annum, plus training support
• RCVS membership paid + one other membership subscription
• VDS cover provided
• Contributions towards health and wellbeing treatments (e.g., dentistry, physiotherapy, sports massage)
• Enhanced parental leave (maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave, and surrogacy pay)
• Discounted veterinary fees for staff pets
• Cycle to Work scheme
• Annual pay reviews and colleague engagement surveys
• Career progression opportunities and a focus on employee wellbeing
