We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a proudly independent small animal practice in the vibrant city of Glasgow. Our client is a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice located in the heart of the city, offering a fantastic work environment in a spacious, purpose-built surgery equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
The practice is outfitted with modern equipment, including X-rays, ECG, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, ensuring you have the tools you need to provide exceptional care. As an RCVS-approved Training Practice for Veterinary Nurses, you will be joining a dedicated team that currently includes three qualified RVNs.
You will be welcomed into an experienced and friendly team of veterinary professionals, comprising three Veterinary Surgeons, three Registered Veterinary Nurses (one with a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care), two Animal Care Assistants, and two Receptionists. The practice values collaboration and teamwork, with everyone sharing consultations, dental, medical, and surgical procedures to deliver the highest standard of care for their patients.
The practice prioritises a healthy work-life balance, offering structured working days without long hours, allowing you time to enjoy your personal life. All consultations are by appointment, providing a steady and manageable workload. The practice offers a wide range of clinical treatment options and medicines, enabling you to deliver comprehensive care.
The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and possess previous experience working in a veterinary practice. You must be a strong team player with a genuine commitment to the welfare of animals. Your dedication to providing compassionate care will be essential in this role.
The Role:
• Full time role - 39.5 hours per week on average
• 4, 4.5 or 5 day week
• 1:4 Saturdays (9am - 1pm)
• No OOH
