Our client, a busy RCVS accredited small animal hospital located in the stunning cathedral city of Lincoln, is seeking a dedicated RVN to join their friendly and dynamic team. As a proudly independent 100% small animal hospital, they operate from purpose-built premises and are supported by a branch practice.
You will be part of a highly skilled and passionate nursing team led by experienced Head Nurses. Their team goes above and beyond for their patients, and they take pride in maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
They are also a training practice, providing you with the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise as a potential clinical coach. Working alongside brilliant students within the nursing team and contributing to their growth and development.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including in-patient care, performing nurse clinics, lab work, dispensary tasks, and assisting vets during examinations and surgeries. You will also play a crucial role in monitoring anaesthetics, radiography, and maintaining high standards of practice cleanliness and equipment care.
You will be working in a well-equipped hospital that has been awarded silver status by the RWAF and is an accredited Cat Friendly Clinic by the ISFM. Their facilities include up-to-date equipment such as ECG, Ultrasound, X-ray, fibre optic Endoscope, and an In-house laboratory.

The Role:
• Full Time role - 38 hour week
• Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am and 7pm
• 1:6 Saturday mornings (8am - 1pm), when you work a Saturday morning you get the following Friday off
• Flexible working patterns
• No OOH generally although cover may be required for the annual leave or sickness of the dedicated night nurses
