We are seeking a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client's team in the North of Birmingham. Located just 18 minutes from the bustling city centre, you will have easy access to a vibrant urban environment with a plethora of shops, restaurants, and scenic canals.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse in this RCVS accredited practice, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks. You will play a crucial role in the care of hospitalised and surgical patients, manage surgical and theatre duties, and oversee Student Veterinary Nurses. Your role will also involve conducting nurse consultations, including 2nd vaccinations, post-op checks, claw clips, anal gland expressions, microchipping, wellness screening, weight & health clinics, and various client-facing responsibilities.
The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities equipped with Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, Dentistry, an In-house laboratory, and more. You will be part of a dedicated team, working alongside a full-time Veterinary Surgeon, another Registered Veterinary Nurse, and a supportive team of Veterinary Care Assistants, all under the guidance of an experienced Branch Manager. Additionally, the practice is a Training Practice, offering a structured nurse training pathway.
