A wonderful opportunity has arisen at a recently refurbished small animal practice in the picturesque county of Dorset. Our client is seeking a passionate and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team on a part-time basis.
Located in a tranquil village near Wimborne and Broadstone, and just six miles from the stunning Poole Harbour, this practice is set in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. The location boasts excellent transport links, including regular rail services, bus and coach routes, a local port, and Bournemouth Airport just 30 minutes away.
Since its establishment in 1997 as a one-vet practice, this clinic has flourished into a dedicated team of four experienced vets, five qualified nurses, one student nurse, one nursing assistant, and a welcoming group of reception and support staff. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a warm and supportive environment.
The practice is well-equipped, offering a range of modern services with facilities including an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, a state-of-the-art operating theatre, separate kennel facilities, and more.
This part-time role involves a 28.5-hour workweek with shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8am to 6:30pm. There is flexibility to discuss hours if needed.
