An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, independent small animal practice in Wolverhampton. This is the perfect role for a vet looking to work within a genuinely supportive environment, with the flexibility to develop their career in the direction that suits them best.

With continued growth and investment, this role offers the chance to become part of an ambitious practice where clinical standards and team wellbeing are equally prioritised.

This position offers a busy and rewarding caseload with a strong surgical focus, making it ideal for a vet keen to further enhance their surgical experience or work towards a certificate. Equally, the role can be tailored to suit individual preferences, whether that’s surgery-heavy, consult-only, or a balanced mix of both.

The practice itself is modern and very well-equipped, featuring digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment and excellent diagnostic facilities, with ongoing investment planned as the practice continues to expand.

  • 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (8:30am – 12pm)
  • No out-of-hours requirements
  • Flexible working options available

Salary & Benefits

  • Generous CPD budget with additional support for certificates
  • Paid CPD leave
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • Performance and attendance bonuses
  • 4–6 weeks holiday plus birthday leave
  • Enhanced staff discounts and cost-price care for pets
  • Pension scheme
  • Relocation support available
  • Paid lunch breaks
  • Overtime incentives
  • Regular team socials and weekly team lunches
  • On-site parking
  • Genuine opportunities for progression as the practice grows

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon seeking clinical freedom, a supportive team culture and the chance to develop within a successful independent practice.
