A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to work at an independent small animal veterinary practice in the regency spa town of Cheltenham. With an excellent range of shops and restaurants on the doorstep and the beautiful Gloucestershire Cotswold's just down the road, Cheltenham is the perfect location to be. It is an easy journey to the neighbouring towns and cities of Bristol, Bath, Birmingham, Cardiff and Swindon and an excellent rail network connects Cheltenham to London and the rest of the UK.
Our client is an independent RCVS accredited practice looking for a full time Vet to join their highly skilled veterinary team including an experienced dual certified colleague in radiology and surgery. The team meets informally each day for mutual support and case discussions which means you never feel isolated or abandoned.
The practice is very well equipped with up-to-date technology including an extensive onsite laboratory, a high end orthopaedic kit, Esaote Ultrasound and DR X rays and much more.
You will receive significant teaching time from an ex-Bristol University colleague and a lot of support from other staff members. This role is open to newly graduated and experienced veterinary surgeons. Exit fees will also be paid to those who wish to leave their graduate training programme early.
The Rota:
• Full Time role - part time applications will be considered
• 1:4 Saturday mornings
• No OOH
• 15 minute consult times (longer for new graduates)
The Benefits:
• Excellent salary: £38,000 - £65,000 DOE
