Veterinary Surgeon - West Sussex

Purovets are looking for a first opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice situated in a beautiful, small city within West Sussex sandwiched between the stunning south coast and the South Downs.
Ignite your journey at the practice where passion meets expertise! The practice has a separate dogs and cats waiting rooms (ISFM Silver), 3 consult rooms, separate dogs' cats and isolation kennels, Ultrasound room, digital Xray room, dental xrays, diathermy, Ultrasound, separate Vet office for vet's admin time.
Across the group, they have a large team of veterinary surgeons, a nursing team and support staff. They have multiple nurse training centres within the group, and have certificate holders in orthopaedics, surgery, medicine, cardiology, and imaging. They also have vets with special interests in dermatology, oncology, ECC and dentistry making it an excellent learning environment. You will be able to tap into the extensive expertise of the team, where you will receive unwavering support throughout.
They have a steady caseload, and you will have access to first opinion surgical cases and daytime emergencies alongside consults.

The Rota:
• Full time role
• Flexible rota
• 4-day week
• Some Saturday mornings and the occasional Saturday afternoon
• No OOH however you will be required to cover 1:9 weeks of inpatient care (Monday to Friday evenings only).
