We’re looking for a confident, experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a vibrant and supportive team of 11 vets in the centre of beautiful Edinburgh. With a strong ethos of clinical excellence and team wellbeing, they have created a positive working environment where vets can grow, develop special interests, and truly enjoy their careers.
This well-equipped, RCVS-accredited practice includes four branches across the city and offers Karl Storz laparoscopy, video endoscopy, doppler ultrasound, ECG, digital dental x-ray, slit lamp, Tonopen, full in-house lab (IDEXX Procyte & Catalyst), and DR x-ray. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues with interests in endosurgery, ophthalmology, and ultrasound, and they are always keen to mentor and support further development.
They hold regular team meetings to share ideas, and there’s a strong social vibe too — from pizza Fridays and shared lunches to ten-pin bowling and escape room adventures, they make time to unwind and enjoy each other’s company!

The Rota
- 4-day working week
- 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (9 am–12 pm)
- No ooh
