Veterinary Surgeon – Gateshead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, independent small animal practice just outside of Gateshead, where patient care, client experience, and team wellbeing are all truly valued. The clinic is exceptionally well-equipped, offering a comprehensive range of advanced facilities including ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, multi-parameter monitoring, ventilators, incubators, and extensive in-house diagnostic capabilities. As an RCVS accredited practice, alongside multiple recognised accreditations for feline and rabbit care, the team is proud to deliver outstanding standards across a varied caseload. There is also the opportunity to work with exotic species for those with an interest, supported by experienced colleagues and advanced practitioners in dermatology and exotic animal medicine.
This is a practice that truly invests in its people. Veterinary Surgeons are supported by highly skilled nurses who run dedicated clinics and perform Schedule 3 procedures, allowing vets to focus on more complex clinical cases.
