Purovets is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a family-run, independent practice located in the historic and vibrant town of Guildford, Surrey. This picturesque location, with its quaint cobbled High Street, is within easy reach of Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and boasts excellent rail links to London (40 minutes) and the South Coast (50 minutes). Guildford, served by the M25, M3, and A3, is the perfect base for exploring South East England.

Our client opened its doors in 2004 and has developed a loyal client base through the strong bonds they form with their clients and their pets, often spanning generations. They are an RCVS accredited single-site practice equipped with excellent modern facilities, including Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, Endoscope, and an In-house laboratory. Additionally, they are proud members of the ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic.

You will join a dedicated and experienced team of three Vets specialising in canine and feline internal medicine, ultrasonography and radiography, gastroenterology, dermatology, and canine and feline behaviour. The team also includes a Head Nurse, an RVN, an SVN, a VA, and a welcoming receptionist. With a combined experience of over 55 years, the team prides themselves on a fantastic reputation within the local community.

This role is perfect for a Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias who is either working towards or interested in starting a certificate. The successful candidate will enjoy being part of a great team with a strong work ethic, full clinical freedom to manage their own cases, and the opportunity to grow and learn.

The Rota:
• Full Time role - 4 day week
• 1:3/4 Saturday mornings (8am - 12pm)
• No OOH
