This can be harder work than fitting each case into a protocol, but they believe (and their clients seem to value), that this is the best approach.
The practice:
My client have a busy and varied caseload, which means they work hard giving their clients and patients their very best, and that includes providing their own OOH care.
At the practice you'll find a large experienced core team of 10 vets and 16 RVNs, and they provide training for SVNs and new graduate vets as the practice have skills that are worth passing on.
The newly expanded clinic features a large operating theatre, CT scanner, ultrasound, radiography, endoscopy, microsurgery, radio surgery as well as separate cat, dog, small animal and exotic wards.
Andover offers a beautiful rural location to work and live as well as having easy access to the M3 motorway which means the practice are just an hour from London, and the beautiful South Coast beaches are within easy reach too.
The role:
• Experience: Ideally a years experience in a similar role
• Skills: Confident with routine procedures and surgeries and able to take on more complex cases with support
• Characteristics: You should be self-sufficient and self-motivated with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and become a key part of our core team sharing our practice values
You will work a 4½ day week, with a rotation of early Friday finishes.The practice operate a 1:4 OOH rota, mainly supporting their on-site interns.
