A fabulous opportunity has arisen at a forward thinking and progressive veterinary practice in Hertfordshire for a Veterinary Surgeon role. The modern practice is well-equipped with up to date technology including a digital x-ray, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory and modern operating theatres with state of the art anaesthetic machines and monitoring equipment. The practice also has a new custom built dental suite incorporating digital dental x-rays.
Our client has been providing exceptional animal care to the local community for many decades and provides a wide range of veterinary services for small animals and exotic pets. The head veterinary surgeon has an exotic certificate, giving you the chance to learn more skills if you wanted to. Their staff are motivated and encouraged to gain additional certifications across all levels of employment, and they offer career progression within their group. You will be joining a highly skilled and motivated veterinary team where lunch and finish times are protected and built in phone call/admin time every day to ensure staff almost always finish on time.
The practice is situated in the historical market town of Berkhamsted, recently voted one of the best places to live in Hertfordshire. With its good schools and vast array of shops, bars and restaurants as well as the surrounding countryside classed as an outstanding area of natural beauty, there is something for everyone in this stunning market town.
Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- Full time - 4 or 4.5/4 day alternating weeks
- 1:3 Saturday rota at the practice and 1:12 Saturday rota at their local hospital
- Very rare overtime with TOIL
