We have a fantastic opportunity at Purovets for a Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent small animal practice located in the stunning Norfolk Broads.

Our client is an RCVS accredited small animal first opinion veterinary practice based in the beautiful Norfolk Broads. The city of Norwich is a short car or train ride away, and the Broads are right on your doorstep, with the amazing Norfolk coast just a short drive away, offering the best of all worlds.

Established in 1986, the practice has steadily grown into a 6 Vet practice with an excellent reputation in the local area. Their ethos has always been clear: to do the best for the animals in their care within the means of their clients and to look after the team with respect and kindness. They take pride in doing their job well, caring for the patients, looking after clients, and understanding their feelings.

They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with previous experience working in practice, who is a team player and happy to get involved. The practice boasts four consulting rooms, a prep room, theatre, lab, imaging suite, separate dog, cat and isolation wards, and a staff room with a coffee machine (including hot chocolate!) and offices upstairs. It's a lovely place to relax, enjoy a cuppa, and catch up with the team.

The practice is well-equipped, with a Phillips Ultrasound machine, Digital Dental X-ray, Tonometer (Tonovet plus), Video gastroscope and bronchoscope, Rhinoscope, Laparoscopic surgical stack, and a full Idexx lab including Sedivue, which the nurses really appreciate.

You will be joining a fantastic team of 28, including 6 Vets who all work well together and help each other. They are a sociable bunch who enjoy getting together for activities like paddle boarding on the Broads and Sunday family picnics in the park.

If you are a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a friendly and professional team in a beautiful location, we would love to hear from you.
