A well-renowned, independent veterinary group are currently looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team in West Sussex (Not far from Gatwick). The hospital has a long history of providing the highest quality of care to the local area.
The surgery provides a comprehensive range of amenities to ensure the highest standard of care, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. These include a top-tier ultrasound MyLab X7 with all cardiac extras, a complete Karl Storz endoscopy tower, an orthopaedic suite, a dental suite, an impressive ophthalmology setup, separate wards, two theatres, a large lab, an extensive prep area, spacious consultation rooms, and a 24-hour separate night service.
Given the varied case load, this position is ideal for someone pursuing or holding a certificate. The practice caters to a wide range of animal care needs, from domestic cats and dogs to exotic pets such as snakes and spiders.
The role involves working two days at their newly refurbished, 24-hour hospital and two days at their branch practice.
The main hospital is located in a beautiful town in West Sussex, known for its charming and picturesque qualities.
The surrounding countryside is picturesque and offers ample opportunities for outdoor activities, such as walking, hiking, and cycling. The South Downs National Park is nearby, providing stunning landscapes and wildlife.

The Rota:

• NO WEEKENDS
• NO OOH
The Candidate:
The practice is happy to consider Vets with varying levels of experience as there is plenty of support if required however, this would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years UK experience (or equivalent).
The practice offers an excellent salary and package:
• Excellent salary up to £73,000 DOE
• Certificate support or £2,000 CPD plus 5 days study
• No OOH - this all covered by the night team
